Hermits Excursion

Ermitaños Excursion: Located in the town of El Limón, a Municipal District that depends on the Santa Bárbara de Samaná municipality. It is located between Punta De Leche and Punta Cayita Honda.

Its length is 400 meters and it is surrounded by reefs. Famous for its history and discovery in 1780, when a group of pirates found the whereabouts of the famous pirate Juan El Hermitaño, who had been missing for 22 years. His discovery moved the locals and Spaniards who were the authorities in the area, thus granting Juan forgiveness and freedom for all the misdeeds he committed during his time as a privateer.

This beach covered with white sand and soft waves is ready to offer you a charming day in which you can feel totally relaxed, while enjoying its cliffs and mountains covered with vegetation, which turns it into a sanctuary of peace and comfort.
